Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026
Trans-Pacific Facilitators (“TPF,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through transpak-cn.com and our emails, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Who We Are
Trans-Pacific Facilitators helps North American and European companies get their products made in Asia. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, email sales@tpfteam.com, or write to us at:
Trans-Pacific Facilitators
Tianan Cyber Park, Huangge Road
Longgang District, Shenzhen
Guangdong, China 518172
2. Information We Collect
When you contact us through a form on our website, we collect what you enter, such as:
- your name, company name and email address
- your factory’s location and region
- your product type and the services you’re interested in
- anything you write in your questions or comments
When you sign up for our weekly emails, we collect your email address, along with the date, time and page where you signed up.
When you read our emails, our email provider records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this to run and secure the site, and to count visits.
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive information such as health or financial details.
3. How We Use Your Information, and Why We’re Allowed To
| What we do | Why we’re allowed to |
|---|---|
| Respond to your inquiry and discuss how we can help | You asked us to, and it’s needed before we can work together. |
| Provide our inspection, audit, sourcing, product development and testing services | It’s needed to fulfill our agreement with you. |
| Send you our weekly emails | You asked for them, by signing up. You can stop them at any time. |
| Keep a record of when and where you signed up | It’s in our legitimate interest to be able to show that you agreed to receive our emails. |
| See which emails are opened and which links are clicked | It’s in our legitimate interest to learn which topics are useful, so we can improve what we send. |
| Protect our forms from spam and our website from misuse | It’s in our legitimate interest to keep the site secure and working. |
| Understand how visitors use our website, through Google Analytics | Your consent where the law requires it, including in the EU and UK; elsewhere, our legitimate interest in improving the site. |
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
4. Our Weekly Emails
We only send our weekly emails to people who have asked for them, through the signup on our website or the checkbox on our contact forms. The checkbox is never ticked in advance, and you don’t have to sign up to contact us.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us. After you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a “do not send” list, so that we don’t email you again by mistake.
If you are already on our mailing list when you sign up on our website, we don’t add you a second time, so you won’t receive the same emails twice.
5. Who Helps Us Handle Your Information
We share personal information only with the service providers who help us run our website and emails, and only as far as they need it to do that work. Each is required to protect it.
- Pressable (Automattic Inc., United States) hosts our website and its database, including your form submissions and the record of your email signup. Pressable also counts visits to our site, using a method that sets no cookies and converts IP addresses into an anonymous code, so that visitors cannot be identified.
- Campaign Monitor (Marigold, with data stored primarily in the United States) sends our weekly emails and records opens, clicks and unsubscribes.
- Cloudflare (United States) provides Turnstile, which checks in the background that a form is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. To do this, Turnstile processes technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. It does not set cookies or show you a challenge. Turnstile’s use of this information is described in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which supplements Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia) supplies the typeface used on our forms. It receives your IP address when the font loads and does not keep logs.
- Google (Google LLC, United States) provides Google Analytics. See section 7.
- Our email systems deliver form submissions to the members of our team who respond to them.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
6. Where Your Information Is Handled
TPF works across time zones, with our main office in Shenzhen, China, and leadership in the United States. So that we can answer your inquiry and support your production, your information may be accessed by our team in China and the United States, and stored by our service providers in the United States and other countries.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Canada, this means your information may be handled in countries whose privacy laws differ from yours. When we send an inquiry to our team in China, we do so because it is needed to respond to your request. Our providers in the United States use recognized safeguards for transfers from the EU and UK, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (with its UK extension) and standard contractual clauses.
7. Cookies, Analytics and Similar Technologies
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use our website, such as which pages are read most, so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Where the law requires it, including for visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we only use Google Analytics after you agree to it, and you can change your choice at any time. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on any website with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Our email signup uses your browser’s own storage to remember a few things: when you have closed or completed the signup window (so we don’t show it again for about 60 days), and how many pages you have viewed in the current visit (so it doesn’t appear as soon as you arrive). This information stays in your browser. It is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising cookies. Our website does not respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals.
8. How Long We Keep Your Information
- Inquiries and project correspondence: for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep records of our business relationship, and then we delete them.
- Weekly email subscription: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep your email address on our “do not send” list, and keep the record of when you signed up for as long as we may need to show that you agreed to receive our emails.
- Technical information received by our hosting and security providers: for the limited periods set by those providers.
9. Your Rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- stop sending you our emails, at any time
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to how we use your information, to ask us to restrict its use, and to receive your information in a form you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything we did before. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
If you are in Canada, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) about how we handle your information.
If you are in the United States, you may have additional rights under the law of the state where you live. Contact us and we will respond as that law requires.
To make any of these requests, email sales@tpfteam.com. We will respond within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to our website and spam protection on our forms. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already hold, we will let you know by email first where we can.
